This is an ideal cottage base for a walking holiday. There are short and long walks straight from the door! We bought it not as a holiday home but as our own eventual retirement home so it is a cottage with surrounding and facilities like few others! It's in an area fabulous if you simply want to walk the dog or cat (walks with the cats - there's a blog there of our visits to the cottage) straight from the cottage door and it also has very good access to areas other than the Forest of Dean - Gloucester, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Cotswolds, Wye Valley, Malvern Hills, Welsh borders, Black Mountains, Vale of Evesham, Brecon Beacons etc.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 4 adults and one child with ease, bathroom, large family kitchen, two separate living rooms, a conservatory as well as a well stocked garden with summer house, barbecue area and outside seating area and pond with seating area. It's very pet friendly, be your pet a cat or a dog! There's a separate page on a some local walks.
