Mine shafts, pits and other workings
There are many mine shafts, pits and other workings shown on the geological and other maps. This is a list of map references of ones I am aware of, to be found mainly on the geological map no 233. As I locate more, or investigate these on the ground, notes will be added.
Geological map 233 is dated 1974, so the status (active, disused etc) is as of that date.
